When I document a wedding or elopement, I don’t only focus on people (even though those moments are everything). I also spend time capturing the details of your day, the quiet corners, the carefully chosen elements, the in-between spaces. You’d be amazed at how different every celebration feels depending on what each couple chooses.

Four Scottish seasons in one day: powerful wind, soft light, sudden rain, and golden breaks in the sky. That’s the magic of a Scotland elopement.
Photographing an elopement in the Scottish Highlands means embracing the wild. The weather changes fast, the landscapes feel cinematic, and every moment becomes beautifully spontaneous.
On this day, we had everything at once: dramatic Scottish weather chasing us across the hills. But nothing stopped us. We made it work.
It was pure fun. Adventurous. Absolutely wild.
We even had delicate dandelions marking our path as we ran through the Highlands together.

Where and when we choose to create your photographs shapes everything. The light, the landscape, the atmosphere, all of it becomes part of your story.
I’m endlessly inspired by wild places. Foggy mornings, open fields, soft colour contrasts, animals moving freely,this is where I feel most creatively led. When nature takes the lead, the moments unfold naturally, honestly, without force.

I personally love vow renewals so much. They feel intimate, intentional, and free. There’s usually less pressure than a wedding day, and more space to simply be. To reflect. To hold hands and look back at everything you’ve built together.
This couple truly made it their own. They chose a beautiful Scottish abbey distillery and turned it into something completely personal and meaningful. That’s the beauty of a vow renewal, you can personalise it as much as you like. There are no rules, just your story, your place, your way.

That part is so important. When you feel relaxed and truly yourselves, your photos reflect who you really are, not stiff poses or forced moments. Every couple is different, some are romantic and passionate, others are soft, playful, and sensitive. ![Baptism days can be emotional too 🤍🕊️
When this lovely soul asked me to photograph her baptism, it truly surprised me, we often associate baptisms with babies, but this felt just as meaningful. A beautiful, intentional ceremony, full of emotion and with a soft touch of pink. What an absolute joy to capture.
My website is now updated, and with it, the way I offer my sessions. While my main focus is on weddings, elopements, couples, families and portraits, I also take on unusual or creative sessions when my calendar allows. These experiences push my creativity further and remind me why I love documenting people and their stories.

Edinburgh bookshops are some of the most magical places in the city, and this cozy little session was no exception. These two amazing women were visiting Edinburgh and loved the peaceful, intimate vibe of being photographed in a bookshop. They’re both passionate about reading and run a mindfulness business, so a coffee-and-books photoshoot was the perfect way to capture their story.
We had so much fun being creative while respecting the space of this tiny, bustling bookshop. Their friendship shine through in every photo, and the results were just beautiful.

My people 🤍 One of the things I love most about Edinburgh is how absolutely unbelievable the landscapes can be. They make photos shine and resonate even more.
These pink and orangey mornings, mixed with greens and blues, bring together all my favourite colours in one place. But what truly makes these sessions special is photographing candid, natural people, enjoying the wind, the views, and simply being themselves.
Editing these moments and then sharing them here makes me so happy. I feel incredibly grateful to have been there, in that exact moment.

Hey, it’s Ari, the girl who’s always carrying your extra layers! Scotland can get chilly, but looking fab on your shoot is non-negotiable. I love helping out with wardrobe on the day, especially when there isn’t a space to stash things.
A few tips:
✨ Bring a tote bag or a supermarket bag to keep your extras out of the way.
✨ Less is more, the fewer things you bring, the easier it is to stay organized.
✨ Weather can be unpredictable, so layers, hoods and good boots are your friend!

During this session, the light was simply gorgeous, and the family was an absolute joy to photograph. Nine members in total! What a beautiful chaos 🤍 We went up to St Anthony’s Chapel to say goodbye to the city they were leaving behind as they start a new chapter somewhere else.
You might ask, “How do you photograph nine family members in one session?” The answer is simple: just being together as you normally do. I’ll make you laugh, capture those silly everyday moments, andeven make you run, argue, or play. It’s all about storytelling in a relaxed, documentary style, no awkward poses, no pressure, just real connection. I’m just an extra in the story, helping you capture it.

![Love is a journey and so was this photoshoot.
We planned this surprise proposal months ago, and by the time it happened, it felt like a story unfolding through the images, exactly how I love to tell stories.
We started at St. Anthony’s Chapel / Arthur’s Seat for the surprise proposal, then wandered around Edinburgh capturing their laughter, quiet moments, and the magic of simply being together.
Every couple is different, and I always aim to capture people as they truly are. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we go quiet and emotional, it all comes naturally from you. This beautiful couple decided to elope in Edinburgh after a lifetime together, just them and their best friends as witnesses.
It was intimate, emotional, and full of joy.
As a photographer, I couldn’t be more grateful to capture such pure emotions and the deep connection they share. Their day was simple, romantic, and truly unforgettable.
